Beverage Service
Throughout your journey, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices and soft drinks. A range of alcoholic beverages is also available, and our signature Singapore Sling is offered on board.

For flights between Tokyo and Phuket, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have an allowance of 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines aircraft operating between Tokyo and Singapore, and on selected aircraft between Singapore and Phuket, once the flight is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Tokyo to Singapore sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width on Boeing 777-300ER flights, and Business Class and First Class offer fully flat beds, with every Business Class seat having direct aisle access. On the Singapore to Phuket sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class features a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class offers generously pitched recliner seats designed for short- to medium-haul comfort.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible passengers may relax at facilities such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Tokyo but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join one of the official transit tours into the city, which typically require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter connections, stay airside and explore the airport's attractions, such as indoor gardens, rest areas, and family-friendly play zones. Depending on your terminal, you may find relaxation zones, spa services, and a wide choice of dining options to refresh between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it's an integral part of your journey.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Tokyo–Singapore and Singapore–Phuket) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Phuket is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

You may be able to plan a stopover in Singapore on your Tokyo–Phuket trip, subject to your ticket conditions and availability.
