On the Chengdu–Singapore–Delhi route, you will be served meals in both Business Class and Economy Class that are tailored to the time of day and sector length, with a selection of main courses and accompaniments.

Eligible passengers in Business Class on selected sectors can use our Book the Cook service to pre-select from an expanded menu. This allows you to secure a preferred main course before you board.

Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, you can enjoy hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, teas, and coffees. Our signature Singapore Sling cocktail is also available on board.

For flights between Chengdu and Delhi, our weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chengdu to Delhi once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Chengdu–Singapore and Singapore–Delhi sectors operated by the Boeing 787-10, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches, with up to 19 inches of seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with every seat offering direct aisle access.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chengdu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers many ways to spend your layover comfortably, from themed gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas and transit hotels. With a longer layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may also consider joining an official transit tour into the city, subject to availability and timing.

For shorter connections, you can stay airside and explore the terminals, where you will find walking trails, indoor greenery, children’s play zones, and a wide choice of dining options. Rest areas with reclining seats and, in some terminals, paid lounges and spa services allow you to refresh before your next flight.

If you prefer to stay close to your gate, you can use the airport’s wayfinding screens and maps to plan your route in advance, then relax nearby until boarding starts. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Chengdu follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) and does not observe daylight saving time. Delhi follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), also without daylight saving time. Delhi is 2 hours 30 minutes behind Chengdu throughout the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Delhi when flying from Chengdu via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Chengdu–Singapore and Singapore–Delhi) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Delhi is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
