For flights between Delhi and Hangzhou, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, Business Class passengers 40kg, and Suites passengers 50kg, with each checked bag not exceeding 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg. Suites and Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Delhi to Hangzhou once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The connection is designed for messaging, email, and basic browsing, and does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Delhi–Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge during their transit.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Delhi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be used to join an official transit tour into the city, which usually requires a minimum of around 5.5 to 6 hours of available time between flights. This is a convenient way to see key sights while still keeping your connection simple.

If you prefer to stay airside, you can enjoy themed gardens, quiet rest areas, entertainment zones, and, in selected terminals, attractions such as indoor slides or water features. There are also transit hotels and snooze zones if you wish to rest between flights.

Whether you choose to explore or relax, clear signage, efficient security, and frequent Skytrain services between terminals make it easy to move around. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it's an integral part of your journey.

Delhi operates on India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Hangzhou uses China Standard Time (CST), which is UTC+8:00, also without daylight saving time. Hangzhou is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Delhi throughout the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport when flying from Delhi via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Delhi–Singapore and Singapore–Hangzhou) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Hangzhou is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
