Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is available throughout your journey, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board.

For flights between Phnom Penh and Kathmandu, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines aircraft on the Phnom Penh–Singapore and Singapore–Kathmandu sectors once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Phnom Penh–Singapore and Singapore–Kathmandu sectors, Economy Class seats offer a pitch of around 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, providing comfortable legroom for regional flights. Business Class offers a fully flat bed on eligible aircraft types, with generous personal space and direct aisle access or easy aisle access depending on the specific seat layout.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may be able to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Phnom Penh but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers, with themed gardens, art installations, rest areas, and a wide variety of dining and shopping. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may have time to join one of the official transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and schedule.

For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy facilities such as quiet zones, walking trails through indoor gardens, and relaxation areas. Some terminals also feature play zones and entertainment options to help the time pass pleasantly.

Phnom Penh operates on Indochina Time (UTC+7) throughout the year, with no daylight saving time. Kathmandu operates on Nepal Time (UTC+5:45), also without daylight saving. Kathmandu is therefore 1 hour 15 minutes behind Phnom Penh at all times of the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Tribhuvan International Airport when flying from Phnom Penh via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Phnom Penh–Singapore and Singapore–Kathmandu) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Kathmandu is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
