For Rome to Perth flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite/Value fares; 30kg for Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Rome to Perth once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers needing to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Rome but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent on a guided transit tour into the city, which usually requires at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. If you prefer to stay airside, you can enjoy themed gardens, rest zones, entertainment areas, and quiet corners to relax between sectors. Shorter layovers are ideal for stretching your legs, freshening up, or sampling local snacks within the terminals. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Perth operates on Australian Western Standard Time (UTC+8) year-round. This means Perth is 7 hours ahead of Rome in winter, and 6 hours ahead when Rome is on summer time.
