For flights between Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. First Class and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines services once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Tokyo–Singapore sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Premium Economy Class on selected Boeing 777-300ER services offers a 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class offers a spacious fully flat bed.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Eligible passengers may be able to use The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Tokyo but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can make use of extensive airside facilities, including themed gardens, rest areas, and family-friendly spaces. For longer transits of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, subject to timing and availability.

If you prefer to stay in the terminal, you will find quiet zones, shower facilities, and a wide variety of dining and shopping options. Airport hotels and nap facilities are also available if you would like to rest between flights.
