For flights between Penang and Phuket, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class guests may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class guests may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

In Economy Class, you may bring 1 piece of cabin baggage up to 7kg. In Business Class, you may bring 2 pieces of cabin baggage, each up to 7kg. Full details of your allowance are shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Penang to Phuket once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

Connection use

The Next Segment Rule
Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Penang but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their entitlements.
