You will be served meals and refreshments on both the Phuket–Singapore and Singapore–Hanoi sectors, with menus designed to suit regional tastes and flight times in Business Class and Economy Class.

Special Meals

Beverage Service
Throughout your journey, we serve a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, so you can enjoy a classic taste of Singapore during your trip.

For flights between Phuket and Hanoi, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance applicable to your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and speeds may vary slightly between the Boeing 737-8 MAX and Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

On the Phuket–Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on most seats.

On the Singapore–Hanoi sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class also offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access from every seat, giving you more space to rest on this mid-haul flight.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may be invited to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and frequent flyer status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Phuket but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable layovers, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and a wide choice of dining options. If your layover is at least around 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining an official transit city tour, subject to the latest airport programmes.

For shorter connections, you can stay airside and enjoy facilities such as walking trails, viewing galleries, children’s play areas, and nap zones. Transit hotels inside the terminal are also available to book if you prefer a private room and shower between flights.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Hanoi is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
