Beverage Service
A range of hot and cold drinks is available throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, so you can enjoy a classic cocktail in the air.

For flights between Bangkok and Dhaka via Singapore, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class customers may check 25kg on Lite/Value fares or 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class customers have 35kg, and Business Class customers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Bangkok to Dhaka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Bangkok to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Premium Economy Class on the Airbus A350-900 provides about 38 inches of pitch and up to 20 inches of width. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent joining the airport's free transit tour, which generally requires at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. With shorter connections, you can stay airside and enjoy attractions such as indoor gardens, quiet rest zones, and family-friendly play areas. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it's an integral part of your journey.

In Bangkok (BKK), eligible Singapore Airlines customers can relax before departure in the SilverKris Lounge. During your layover at Singapore (SIN), qualifying travellers may have access to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Bangkok follows Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Dhaka follows Bangladesh Standard Time (UTC+6) and also does not observe daylight saving time. Dhaka is 1 hour behind Bangkok throughout the year.

From Bangkok, Singapore Airlines flights usually depart from the international terminal at Suvarnabhumi Airport. In Singapore, you will arrive and depart from terminals used by Singapore Airlines at Singapore Changi Airport, with clear signs and screens guiding you to your connecting gate for Dhaka.

Our Bangkok–Singapore–Dhaka services are planned with comfortable connection times at Singapore Changi Airport. When you book a through-ticket, our system only offers connections that meet minimum transfer requirements. If you prefer a more relaxed layover, you may choose an itinerary with a longer stop in Singapore.

If your Bangkok to Dhaka journey is booked on a single Singapore Airlines itinerary, your checked baggage is usually tagged through to Dhaka. You will not need to collect it in Singapore. You can confirm this at check-in, and your baggage claim details will be printed on your baggage tags and e-ticket.

On arrival in Dhaka, you will disembark and proceed through immigration, then collect your checked baggage from the arrivals hall. After customs, you will find transport options such as taxis and pre-arranged pick-ups. It is advisable to check local guidance in advance for entry requirements and city transport information.
