For Da Nang–Yangon flights, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on the Da Nang–Singapore–Yangon route. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Da Nang–Singapore and Singapore–Yangon sectors operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access for every seat, giving you more space to rest and work.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Da Nang but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent joining the free city sight-seeing programmes, which usually require at least 5.5 to 6 hours of transit time, including the time needed for immigration and security checks. These tours offer a convenient way to see highlights of Singapore without managing your own logistics.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with indoor gardens, art installations, children’s play areas, and quiet rest zones spread across the terminals. You can also make use of showers, transit hotels, and spa facilities to freshen up between flights.

Da Nang follows Vietnam Time, which is UTC+7, and does not observe daylight saving time. Yangon follows Myanmar Time, which is UTC+6:30, and also does not observe daylight saving time. Yangon is therefore 30 minutes behind Da Nang throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Yangon is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
