A selection of hot and cold beverages is available throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board.

For flights between Seoul and Ho Chi Minh City, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is indicated on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Seoul to Ho Chi Minh City once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Seoul–Singapore and Singapore–Ho Chi Minh City sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable space for the journey. Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access for every seat, giving you room to rest and work throughout the trip.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Eligible passengers may be able to use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge during their transit, depending on cabin class, status, and terminal.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Seoul but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy gardens, quiet zones, and extensive shopping and dining right inside the terminals. For shorter connections, many travellers choose to relax in seating areas, explore themed gardens, or freshen up before the next flight.

If you have a longer layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may be able to join an official free transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and schedule, giving you a brief introduction to Singapore before returning for your onward flight.

Seoul follows Korea Standard Time (KST), which is UTC+9 and does not observe daylight saving time. Ho Chi Minh City follows Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7 and also does not observe daylight saving time. Ho Chi Minh City is therefore 2 hours behind Seoul throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Seoul–Singapore and Singapore–Ho Chi Minh City) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
