For flights between Taipei and Cebu, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests have an allowance of 25kg on Lite/Value fares and 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares. Business Class guests have an allowance of 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance applicable to your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Taipei to Cebu once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class travellers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase paid plans. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Taipei–Singapore and Singapore–Cebu sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable legroom for regional flights. At Singapore (SIN), eligible Singapore Airlines customers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge before their onward flight.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Taipei but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers, with themed gardens, art installations, rest areas, and a wide choice of dining. If you have at least 5.5–6 hours between flights and meet the requirements, you can also consider joining an official transit city tour, subject to availability.

For shorter connections, you can stay airside to explore the terminals, enjoy indoor gardens or play areas, or relax at quiet zones and rest areas. Showers and airport hotels or pay-per-use lounges are also available if you would like to freshen up before your onward flight.

If you have a longer layover and prefer to remain in the airport, you will still find plenty of shops, eateries, and walking routes to stretch your legs between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Cebu is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
