For flights between Los Angeles and Kuala Lumpur, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each weighing up to 23kg. In Premium Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Business Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Los Angeles–Singapore sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class seats provide a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class offers a fully flat bed with direct aisle access for every seat. On the Singapore–Kuala Lumpur sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class features similar comfort-focused ergonomics, while Business Class offers a fully flat bed-style recline on shorter flights, designed to maximise relaxation during the regional journey.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, subject to operating hours and access rules.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Los Angeles but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Los Angeles operates on Pacific Time, which is UTC−8 in winter (around November to March) and UTC−7 in summer (around March to November). Kuala Lumpur follows Malaysia Time year-round at UTC+8. This means Kuala Lumpur is 16 hours ahead of Los Angeles during Pacific Standard Time, and 15 hours ahead during Pacific Daylight Time.
