For flights between Phuket and Rome, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers can check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members, and the service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

For longer connections of around 5.5 hours or more, you may join the airport’s free city tour programme, subject to eligibility and timings, to get a quick introduction to Singapore. Shorter layovers can be spent exploring indoor gardens, visiting entertainment zones, or simply relaxing at quiet seating areas and transit hotels within the terminals.
