For flights between Chongqing and Phuket, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class customers may bring up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chongqing but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join an official transit tour into the city, available when you meet the minimum connection time required by the programme, often around 5.5 to 6 hours. This lets you see key sights before returning comfortably for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest areas, children’s play zones, and in selected terminals, facilities such as a swimming pool or cinema. You can also enjoy a wide choice of dining and shopping close to the boarding gates.
