For flights between Colombo and Seattle, our baggage policy follows the piece concept as the journey involves the United States of America. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Premium Economy Class passengers may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Business Class passengers may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each checked piece must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Colombo to Singapore and from Singapore to Seattle once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, including those travelling in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, provided the membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Colombo but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can consider joining a free transit tour of the city, which typically requires a minimum connection time of around 5.5 to 6 hours. These tours let you see highlights of Singapore without managing your own arrangements.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is comfortable, with themed gardens, quiet resting areas, entertainment zones, and, in some terminals, facilities such as swimming pools or cinemas. You can also enjoy a variety of dining options and places to relax between flights.
