For flights between Dubai and Los Angeles, our baggage policy follows the piece concept because the itinerary involves the United States. For checked baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 23kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked piece must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Dubai to Los Angeles once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, including those travelling in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, provided your membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Dubai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

For a layover in Singapore, you can make the most of Singapore Changi Airport’s extensive airside facilities, including themed gardens, rest areas, and a wide range of dining and shopping options. If your layover is long enough, you may also join one of the airport’s official transit programmes, which typically require several hours between flights. Shorter connections are best spent relaxing near your departure gate, enjoying the airport’s calm seating zones.
