For flights between Riyadh and Chongqing, the weight concept applies. In checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may take 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may take up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing. For the comfort of all passengers, Wi-Fi does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Riyadh but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Eligible passengers may be invited to relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore (SIN), depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities that make layovers comfortable and enjoyable. For longer connections, you can consider the official transit tour into the city, which typically requires a minimum layover of about 5.5 to 6 hours to join, subject to availability and immigration requirements.

For shorter layovers, staying airside gives you access to themed gardens, quiet rest areas, children’s play zones, and in selected terminals, amenities such as swimming pools and cinemas. There are also many dining and shopping options to explore at your own pace.

If you prefer to rest, airport hotels and nap-friendly seating areas are available within the terminals. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Riyadh follows Arabia Standard Time (UTC+3) and does not observe daylight saving time. Chongqing follows China Standard Time (UTC+8), also without daylight saving. This means Chongqing is consistently 5 hours ahead of Riyadh throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Riyadh–Singapore and Singapore–Chongqing) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Chongqing is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
