For flights between Shanghai and Kolkata, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class, where offered on the Shanghai–Singapore sector, includes 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class includes 40kg. First Class on selected Shanghai–Singapore flights includes 50kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring one piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Shanghai to Kolkata once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.
