Please note that no meal service is provided for Economy Class passengers on the Singapore–Penang segment due to the short flight time.

For flights between Xiamen and Penang, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Xiamen to Penang once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. For a layover in Singapore, it is often convenient to stay airside at Singapore Changi Airport, which is designed for comfortable transits. Depending on your terminal, you can enjoy themed gardens, rest areas, and quiet corners to relax between flights.

If you have a longer layover, you may wish to explore additional facilities such as cinemas, play areas, and curated art and design features throughout the terminals. Airport hotels and rest zones offer spaces to freshen up and rest without leaving the airport.
