For flights between Bangkok and Shenzhen, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have an allowance of 35kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Bangkok to Shenzhen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Bangkok–Singapore sector, Economy Class seats typically offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class seats convert into fully flat beds with direct aisle access. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bangkok but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may be able to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in Singapore, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers many ways to relax during your layover, from indoor gardens and themed zones to comfortable seating areas and transit hotels. If you have at least 5.5 hours between flights and meet the programme requirements, you may be able to join a free transit tour of the city. For shorter layovers, you can enjoy airport attractions such as viewing gardens, art installations, and rest zones close to your gate. Bangkok follows Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Shenzhen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) and also does not observe daylight saving time. Shenzhen is 1 hour ahead of Bangkok throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Bangkok–Singapore and Singapore–Shenzhen) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Shenzhen is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
