Throughout the journey, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board to help make your flight feel special.

For flights between Busan and Jakarta, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg) on sectors where these cabins are available. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Boeing 737-8 MAX between Busan and Singapore, Economy Class offers a 32-inch seat pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Boeing 777-300ER between Singapore and Jakarta, Economy Class also offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch width, Premium Economy Class has a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch width, Business Class features fully flat beds with direct aisle access, and First Class provides a spacious fully flat bed for added comfort.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Busan but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy extensive facilities including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and family-friendly spaces without leaving the terminal. For longer connections of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider an official transit tour that showcases highlights of Singapore. Shorter layovers are well spent exploring the terminals, where you will find walking trails, art installations, and comfortable seating areas to rest between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Busan follows Korea Standard Time (UTC+9) and does not observe daylight saving time. Jakarta follows Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7), also without daylight saving time. This means Jakarta is 2 hours behind Busan throughout the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta when flying from Busan via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Busan–Singapore and Singapore–Jakarta) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Jakarta is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
