Summer peak season (July to September) is warm to hot, especially along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, with temperatures often between 25–35°C (77–95°F), ideal for beach stays and late-evening strolls. Autumn shoulder season (October to early November) cools to around 12–22°C (54–72°F), giving comfortable conditions for exploring cities and historic sites, while winter low season (late November to March) can be much cooler, from about 5–12°C (41–54°F) in many areas, with colder conditions in inland and eastern regions.
