For Medan–Seoul flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase paid plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Medan but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable transits, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and a wide choice of dining and retail. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights and meet the programme conditions, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city.

For shorter layovers, you can explore indoor gardens, relaxation zones, and entertainment areas, or simply enjoy a sit-down meal before your next flight. Airport hotels and nap facilities are available in selected terminals if you prefer to rest in privacy.
