For flights between Melbourne and Dubai, our checked baggage is based on the weight concept. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg of checked baggage, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg, Business Class includes 40kg, and Suites and First Class include 50kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Suites, First Class, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Melbourne and Dubai once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Eligible passengers may be able to access The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Melbourne but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.
