For Bengaluru to Zurich flights, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Bengaluru to Zurich once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Bengaluru–Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Singapore–Zurich sector, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class offer 32-inch and 38-inch pitch respectively, with up to 19-inch and 20-inch seat widths, while Business Class and First Class feature fully flat beds for added comfort.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bengaluru but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited to spending a layover comfortably. With sufficient time, you can join an official transit tour into the city, which usually requires a layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter connections, you can enjoy indoor gardens, rest areas, play zones, and a wide choice of dining and shopping within the terminals. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Zurich follows Central European Time (CET), which is UTC+1 from late October to late March, and Central European Summer Time (CEST), UTC+2, from late March to late October. This means Zurich is typically 4.5 hours behind Bengaluru in winter and 3.5 hours behind in summer.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Zurich is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
