For flights between Chongqing and Dubai, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. First Class passengers on the Singapore–Dubai sector may check 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Chongqing–Singapore Boeing 737-8 MAX sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chongqing but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may enjoy The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable transits, with themed gardens, quiet rest zones, and extensive dining and shopping. For shorter layovers, you can relax at your terminal, explore attractions such as indoor gardens, or freshen up at pay-per-use lounges and transit hotels without clearing immigration. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may have time to join an official transit city tour or briefly explore selected nearby areas, subject to immigration rules and tour availability.
