For flights between Adelaide and Johannesburg, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests may bring 35kg, and Business Class guests may bring 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring one piece up to 7kg. Business Class guests may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines services between Adelaide and Johannesburg once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent joining one of the airport’s official transit tours into the city, which typically require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours. If you prefer to stay airside, you can enjoy themed gardens, rest areas, entertainment zones, and quiet corners for relaxation. Shorter connections can be spent exploring the terminals, sampling a variety of dining outlets, or freshening up at shower and spa facilities. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

In Adelaide, eligible Singapore Airlines customers departing on international flights can access the Plaza Premium Lounge (International Departures), depending on their cabin class or frequent flyer status. Some passengers may also be able to access this lounge through lounge membership programmes or day pass purchases.
