Book the Cook
Eligible premium cabins on the Zurich to Singapore sector and Singapore to Manila sector can take advantage of Book the Cook, allowing you to select from a wider menu of main courses before your flight. This gives you more choice and helps you plan your in-flight dining experience.

Beverage Service
Throughout the journey, a selection of hot and cold beverages is available, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also served on board, so you can enjoy a classic taste of Singapore during your flight.

For flights between Zurich and Manila, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on the Zurich to Manila journey once your aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Zurich to Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class offers a spacious fully flat bed. On the Singapore to Manila sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy attractions such as indoor gardens, play areas, and quiet zones designed for rest. For longer layovers, you may consider joining an official airport-organised city tour, which usually requires several hours between flights to join comfortably. Shorter transits are well spent exploring the terminals, where you will find walking trails, relaxation corners, and plenty of dining choices. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait – it is an integral part of your journey.

At Zurich Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may be invited to use facilities such as the Senator Lounge E or the SWISS Business Lounge E before the Zurich to Singapore flight. Lounge access depends on your cabin class and frequent flyer status, as shown on your booking and boarding pass.

During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may have access to The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status. Zurich follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in winter and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from late March to late October. Manila follows Philippine Time (UTC+8) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Manila is typically 7 hours ahead of Zurich in winter and 6 hours ahead in summer.

Your Zurich to Manila trip includes a connection at Singapore Changi Airport. We recommend following the minimum connecting time shown in your booking, allowing time for security checks, walking between gates, and any immigration procedures if required. Our schedules are planned to support convenient transfers.

On arrival at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport, follow signs for immigration, baggage reclaim, and customs. After collecting your checked baggage, you will find information desks and clearly signed areas for taxis, public transport, and private transfers. It is helpful to have your accommodation details ready for arrival forms.
