Beverage Service
A wide selection of hot and cold drinks is available on your flights, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. You can also enjoy our signature Singapore Sling on board, along with other beverages served by our cabin crew during the journey.

For journeys between Rome and Phuket, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class, 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Premium Economy Class, 35kg; Business Class, 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi; if you are travelling in Economy Class or Premium Economy Class, please ensure your membership number is added to your booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Availability may vary slightly between the Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 737-8 MAX, but connectivity is offered on both sectors of this route.

On the Rome to Singapore sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer a pitch of around 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Premium Economy Class provides a pitch of about 38 inches and up to 20 inches of seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access from every seat.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the official free transit tour if your connection is long enough, usually requiring at least about 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This lets you see highlights of Singapore before returning to the airport for your onward journey to Phuket.

For shorter layovers, stay airside and enjoy Changi Airport’s gardens, snooze zones, and family-friendly areas. Depending on your terminal, you can also visit themed spaces, relax at a transit hotel, or explore the many dining and shopping options.

Eligible Singapore Airlines customers departing from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) may be invited to use a designated lounge, such as the Plaza Premium Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.
