For flights between Chongqing and Medan, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chongqing to Medan once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

If your layover in Singapore is at least 5.5 hours, you can consider joining the official transit tour, which offers a glimpse of the city without needing to plan your own excursion. When departing from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may use the International First and Business Class Lounge before their flight to Singapore. Lounge access depends on your cabin class, fare type, and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status, as stated on your booking.

During your transit at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may access the SilverKris Lounge for First Class or Business Class, or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their class of travel and membership status. Your boarding pass and frequent flyer details will determine which lounge you can use.

Chongqing follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Medan follows Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7), also without daylight saving time. This means Medan is 1 hour behind Chongqing throughout the year.
