For flights between Melbourne and Ahmedabad, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares; 30kg on Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites or First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Suites, First Class, and Business Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines services from Melbourne to Ahmedabad once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Melbourne but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers may use lounges such as The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.
