For flights between Christchurch and Surabaya, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite and Value fares, 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

At Christchurch Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may be invited to use the Air New Zealand International Lounge before departure, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status. Lounge eligibility is based on your departing flight from Christchurch.

Christchurch follows New Zealand time (UTC+12, and UTC+13 during daylight saving from roughly late September to early April). Surabaya follows Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving. This means Surabaya is generally 5 hours behind Christchurch in winter, and 6 hours behind during Christchurch's summer time.
