A selection of hot and cold drinks is served on board, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board for you to enjoy during your flight.

For flights between Hong Kong and Phuket, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite and Value fares, 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights between Hong Kong and Phuket once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Hong Kong–Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, Premium Economy Class offers around 38 inches of pitch with up to 20 inches of seat width, Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class on the Boeing 777-300ER also offers a fully flat bed.

On the Singapore–Phuket sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, you can choose between Economy Class, with a comfortable seat pitch comparable to our regional services, and Business Class, which offers recliner seats with generous legroom for the short flight.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

For longer layovers at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the airport's complimentary city tour, which usually requires a transit time of at least 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter connections, stay airside and enjoy attractions such as indoor gardens, play areas, and quiet rest zones across the terminals. There are also shower facilities, nap spaces, and a wide range of dining options, so you can refresh and recharge between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

In Hong Kong, eligible customers may be able to access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class) or SilverKris Lounge (Business Class) before departure. During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible travellers may have access to The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status. Lounge access is determined by your onward flight and membership status.

Hong Kong follows Hong Kong Time (HKT), which is UTC+8 year-round. Phuket follows Indochina Time, which is UTC+7 year-round. Phuket is 1 hour behind Hong Kong at all times of the year.

We recommend arriving at Hong Kong International Airport at least 2.5 to 3 hours before your scheduled departure to Singapore. This allows enough time for check-in, security, and immigration before you proceed to the gate for your connecting journey to Phuket.
