For flights between Los Angeles and Kathmandu, the piece concept applies to checked baggage. Checked baggage: Economy Class customers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Premium Economy Class customers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Business Class customers may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual piece must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines aircraft once the flight is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

If you have a longer layover in Singapore, you may be able to join an official transit city tour, which usually requires at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights and allows you to see highlights of the city. For shorter connections, you can stay airside at Singapore Changi Airport and enjoy its gardens, rest areas, art installations, and family zones. Eligible customers can also relax in lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait – it is an integral part of your journey.

When departing from Los Angeles International Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may use the Star Alliance Lounge before their flight to Singapore. Lounge access depends on your cabin class or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance tier status, as well as local lounge access rules.
