Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea, is available throughout the flight. You can also enjoy our signature Singapore Sling on board, along with other alcoholic beverages.

For flights between Hong Kong and Fukuoka, our baggage is based on the weight concept. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 35kg, Business Class passengers 40kg, and First Class passengers 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your specific booking is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Hong Kong to Fukuoka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent joining a guided city tour if your connection meets the minimum transit time required by the official programme, giving you a taste of the city between flights. For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy gardens, rest areas, and quiet corners to relax.

The airport also offers a wide range of shopping and dining, as well as family-friendly play zones and rest spaces where you can recharge between sectors. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait - it is an integral part of your journey.

When departing from Hong Kong International Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may be invited to relax in the SilverKris Lounge (First Class) or the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), depending on cabin and frequent flyer status. Hong Kong operates on Hong Kong Time (UTC+8) all year. Fukuoka operates on Japan Standard Time (UTC+9) all year. Fukuoka is therefore 1 hour ahead of Hong Kong throughout the year, with no daylight saving time changes in either city.

We recommend arriving at Hong Kong International Airport at least 2.5 to 3 hours before your scheduled departure time to Singapore. This allows enough time for check-in, security checks, and a relaxed walk to the gate before your first sector.
