For flights between Seoul and Kolkata, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance shown on your e-ticket will always apply, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Seoul, Singapore, and Kolkata once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a range of ways to enjoy your layover. With a sufficiently long transit, you can join an official free city tour that usually requires at least around 5.5 to 6 hours of layover time. This gives you a brief introduction to Singapores landmarks before you return comfortably to the airport.

For shorter layovers, it is easy to stay airside and relax. You can explore indoor gardens, quiet rest areas, playgrounds, and extensive shopping and dining options across the terminals. Some terminals also feature attractions such as kinetic art installations and viewing galleries.

At Incheon International Airport in Seoul, eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may relax in the SilverKris Lounge before their departure to Singapore. Lounge access depends on your cabin class and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status, as stated on your boarding pass.

During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be invited to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their class of travel and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status. Your boarding pass will indicate the lounge you can use.

Seoul follows Korea Standard Time (UTC+9) year-round, with no daylight saving time. Kolkata follows Indian Standard Time (UTC+5:30), also without seasonal changes. This means Seoul is always 3 hours 30 minutes ahead of Kolkata throughout the year.

For this one-stop journey, we recommend arriving at Incheon International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time. This allows enough time for check-in, security checks, and a relaxed walk to the gate. If you need special assistance or are travelling in a group, consider arriving a little earlier.
