Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and First Class and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Beijing to Darwin once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The "Next Segment" Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Beijing but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a longer connection, you can join an official transit tour of Singapore; these typically require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours to allow for immigration and tour time.
