Please note that no meal service is provided for Economy Class passengers on the Singapore–Kuala Lumpur segment due to the short flight time.

For flights between Dubai and Kuala Lumpur, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In checked baggage, Economy Class passengers enjoy 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg, with any single piece not exceeding 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The exact allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and performance may vary depending on the aircraft and route conditions.

On the Dubai–Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, Economy Class offers a comfortable 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class and First Class offer fully flat beds for a more restful journey.

On the Singapore–Kuala Lumpur sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Business Class features seats that convert into a fully flat bed, while Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, designed for a comfortable short flight.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can make use of extensive airside facilities, including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and family-friendly play zones. For longer transits of around 5.5 hours or more, you may be able to join an official city sightseeing tour organised from the airport.

If you prefer to stay in the terminal, you will find many dining options, shopping, and relaxation spaces where you can freshen up between flights. Transit hotels are available within the airport if you would like privacy and rest. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait – it is an integral part of your journey.

When departing from Dubai International Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may be invited to use partner lounges such as the Ahlan First Class Lounge or Ahlan Business Class Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status. Lounge access is determined by your departing flight and current eligibility rules.

During your transit at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be able to access The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status. Staff at the gate or transfer desks can guide you to the most suitable lounge.

Dubai operates on Gulf Standard Time, which is UTC+4 and does not observe daylight saving time. Kuala Lumpur uses Malaysia Time, which is UTC+8 and also does not change seasonally. This means Kuala Lumpur is 4 hours ahead of Dubai throughout the year.

We recommend arriving at Dubai International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time for flights to Kuala Lumpur. This allows enough time for check-in, security, and immigration, especially during busy travel periods. Always check your itinerary and any airport advisories before you travel.
