For Male to Perth flights, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests have 35kg on the Male–Singapore sector, and Business Class guests have 40kg across all sectors. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on the Airbus A350-900 services between Male, Singapore, and Perth once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy extensive airside facilities including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. If your layover is long enough, you may be able to join an official transit city tour, which generally requires at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. For shorter connections, staying airside allows you to relax, shower, or explore the terminals at your own pace. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

When departing from Male, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may access the Koveli Lounge at Velana International Airport (MLE), depending on cabin and frequent flyer status. During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers can access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, according to their class of travel or membership tier.

For Male to Perth itineraries issued on a single Singapore Airlines ticket, we usually check your baggage through to Perth at Male, so you do not need to collect it in Singapore. You should still confirm this at check-in, and follow the transit signs at Singapore Changi Airport to your next departure gate.
