Beverage Service
Throughout the journey you will be offered a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, teas, and coffees. A range of alcoholic beverages is also available, and our signature Singapore Sling is served on board.

For flights between Phuket and Christchurch, the weight concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, the allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Premium Economy Class, the allowance is 35kg, and in Business Class it is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Phuket to Christchurch once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Shorter layovers are comfortable spent within the terminals, where facilities include showers, snooze areas, and in-terminal hotels. Christchurch uses New Zealand Standard Time (UTC+12) from late April to late September, making Christchurch 5 hours ahead of Phuket, and New Zealand Daylight Time (UTC+13) from late September to late April, making Christchurch 6 hours ahead.
