Please note that no meal service is provided for Economy Class passengers on the Singapore–Kuala Lumpur segment due to the short flight time.

For flights between Phuket and Kuala Lumpur, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may bring up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members are entitled to additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Phuket to Kuala Lumpur once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Phuket–Singapore and Singapore–Kuala Lumpur sectors operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class seats offer a pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, providing comfortable space for these regional flights. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can consider joining one of the airport's official transit tours into the city, which typically require at least a 5.5 to 6-hour connection. For shorter layovers, stay airside and discover gardens, art installations, rest areas, and a wide range of dining and shopping options across the terminals. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

During your layover in Singapore, eligible passengers departing on Singapore Airlines may be able to access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status. Lounge access is determined by the departing flight from Singapore and your membership tier.

At Phuket International Airport, eligible passengers may access The Coral Executive Lounge before their Singapore Airlines-operated flight to Singapore, subject to their cabin class, ticket type, or frequent flyer status. Access policies can vary, so we recommend checking your booking details for the latest information.

Phuket follows Thailand Time (UTC+7) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Kuala Lumpur follows Malaysia Time (UTC+8), also without daylight saving time. This means Kuala Lumpur is 1 hour ahead of Phuket throughout the year, regardless of the month you travel.

We recommend arriving at Phuket International Airport at least 2 hours before departure for Singapore Airlines flights to Singapore, connecting onwards to Kuala Lumpur. This allows comfortable time for check-in, security screening, and any immigration formalities, as well as time to relax before boarding.
