For flights between Auckland and Da Nang, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 35kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance will be printed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can choose between exploring the airport or joining an official transit tour if your connection is long enough, typically from around 5.5 to 6 hours. Shorter layovers are ideal for enjoying the airports gardens, rest zones, play areas, and dining options without leaving the terminal. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

In Auckland, eligible Singapore Airlines passengers departing on the Auckland-Singapore sector can access the Air New Zealand International Lounge, depending on their cabin class or KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status. Access rules are based on your departing flight from Auckland and your membership tier.

During your layover at Singapore, eligible passengers may be able to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status for the onward flight to Da Nang. Access is governed by the lounge policy in place on the day of travel.

Auckland follows New Zealand Standard Time (UTC+12) and New Zealand Daylight Time (UTC+13, roughly late September to early April). Da Nang follows Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving. Auckland is typically 5 hours ahead of Da Nang in winter, and 6 hours ahead in summer.
