For checked baggage, Economy Class allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class, when available on the Delhi to Singapore sector, includes 35kg, while Business Class includes 40kg, and Suites on the Airbus A380-800 sector include 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and Suites passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on board once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on the Delhi to Singapore sector, and on equipped aircraft between Singapore and Penang. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Singapore Changi Airport offers many ways to spend your layover comfortably. With a long enough connection, you can join an official free transit tour into the city, which generally requires around 5.5 to 6 hours of available transit time. For shorter layovers, stay airside and explore indoor gardens, rest areas, and family zones. You will also find entertainment, showers, and transit hotels if you prefer to freshen up and rest between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait – it is an integral part of your journey.

At Delhi (DEL), eligible Singapore Airlines customers may be invited to relax in the Encalm Prive Lounge before departure. During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible travellers can access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Delhi operates on India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 all year. Penang follows Malaysia Time (MYT), which is UTC+8:00 and also does not observe daylight saving time. This means Penang is consistently 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Delhi throughout the year.
