For flights between Istanbul and Riyadh, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares; 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Istanbul to Riyadh once the Airbus A350-900 is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Istanbul–Singapore sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class offers a fully flat bed with direct aisle access.

From Istanbul to Riyadh via Singapore, the Istanbul–Singapore flight offers Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class. The onward Singapore–Riyadh sector offers Business Class and Economy Class. You can mix cabins across sectors, subject to availability, to match your comfort preferences and travel plans.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of ways to spend your layover, from indoor gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas, shower facilities, and family zones. For longer layovers, you can join an official transit tour if you meet the minimum connection time and entry requirements.

Shorter connections are easily filled with relaxed walks between terminals, browsing shops, or enjoying a sit-down meal in one of the many dining areas. If you are eligible, you may also rest and refresh in airline or partner lounges during your transit.

Istanbul follows Türkiye Time (TRT), which is UTC+3 all year round. Riyadh uses Arabia Standard Time (AST), also UTC+3 year-round. This means there is normally no time difference between Istanbul and Riyadh, making it easy to adjust your schedule when you arrive.

You will arrive in Riyadh after clearing transit formalities in Singapore, so make sure you keep your travel documents and boarding passes handy for both sectors. On arrival in Riyadh, follow the signs to immigration, baggage reclaim, and customs, and allow a little extra time if you are visiting during busy evening periods.

Our connecting flights from Istanbul to Riyadh via Singapore are scheduled to provide sufficient transit time to change gates comfortably. If you book both sectors on a single Singapore Airlines itinerary, we will only offer connections that meet minimum transfer times at Singapore Changi Airport.
