Beverage Service
A range of hot and cold beverages is available throughout your flight, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. You can also enjoy our signature Singapore Sling on board, a classic choice for many travellers.

For flights between Kuala Lumpur and Perth, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. Checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Economy Class Lite and Value fares, 30kg for Economy Class Standard and Flexi, 35kg for Premium Economy Class, and 40kg for Business Class. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are one piece up to 7kg for Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, and two pieces up to 7kg each for Business Class. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Kuala Lumpur to Perth once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Kuala Lumpur–Singapore sector, operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX or Airbus A350-900, you can choose Economy Class with a 32-inch pitch and up to a 19-inch seat width, or Business Class with a fully flat bed and direct aisle access, depending on aircraft configuration. Some flights also offer Premium Economy Class with a 38-inch pitch and up to a 20-inch seat width.

On the Singapore–Perth sector, operated by the Airbus A350-900, you can travel in Economy Class with a 32-inch pitch and up to a 19-inch seat width, or Business Class with a fully flat bed and direct aisle access, ensuring a comfortable journey on the longer part of your trip.

On the Kuala Lumpur–Singapore flights, you can travel in Economy Class or Business Class on all services, with Premium Economy Class available on some Airbus A350-900 flights. On the Singapore–Perth sector, the Airbus A350-900 offers Economy Class and Business Class, providing a consistent premium experience on the long-haul leg.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy themed gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones that make short layovers comfortable and engaging. For longer transit times, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, provided you meet the minimum layover requirements and entry conditions. Airside, you will also find family zones, quiet spaces, and a variety of dining and shopping options. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

At Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), eligible customers may relax in the Global Lounge before flying to Singapore. During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers can access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and membership status, before continuing to Perth.

Kuala Lumpur is in the Asia/Kuala_Lumpur time zone, which is UTC+8 year-round. Perth is in the Australia/Perth time zone, also UTC+8 and does not observe daylight saving time. This means there is usually no time difference between Kuala Lumpur and Perth at any time of year.

When you fly from Kuala Lumpur to Perth with Singapore Airlines, you will transit through Singapore Changi Airport. Your journey is split into a short sector between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, followed by the longer flight from Singapore to Perth, with clear wayfinding and assistance available during your connection.

We recommend arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at least 2 to 3 hours before your scheduled departure to Singapore. This allows enough time for check-in, security, and immigration formalities before you relax, have a meal, or visit the lounge ahead of your flight and onward connection to Perth.

On arrival at Perth Airport, you will clear immigration, collect your checked baggage, and proceed through customs and biosecurity checks.
