For flights between Kuala Lumpur and Colombo, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg), Premium Economy Class where offered on the Kuala Lumpur to Singapore sector (35kg), and Business Class on both sectors (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Kuala Lumpur to Singapore sector, operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX and the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Business Class features a fully flat bed on the Airbus A350-900 and lie-flat style seating on the Boeing 737-8 MAX. On selected Kuala Lumpur to Singapore flights, Premium Economy Class on the Airbus A350-900 offers around 38 inches of pitch and up to 20 inches of seat width. On the Singapore to Colombo sector, operated by the Airbus A350-900, you can choose Economy Class with around 32 inches of pitch or Business Class with a fully flat bed and direct aisle access.

At Kuala Lumpur International Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines customers can relax in partner lounges such as the Global Lounge before flying to Singapore. Lounge access depends on your cabin class, as well as your KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status, and will follow the conditions printed on your boarding pass.

Bandaranaike International Airport is located north of central Colombo and offers standard arrival facilities including immigration, baggage reclaim, and transport counters. When you land from Singapore, follow the signs for arrivals, keep your travel documents ready, and check local options at the airport for transport into the city.

We recommend arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at least 2 to 3 hours before your scheduled departure to Singapore to allow time for check-in, security, and immigration.
