For flights between New York and Ahmedabad, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. For Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. For Premium Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. For Business Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from New York to Ahmedabad once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. For longer connections, you may join an official transit tour into the city, which generally requires at least a 5.5 to 6-hour layover. Shorter transits are comfortable spent airside, where you will find relaxation zones and airport hotels for rest.
