For flights between Kathmandu and Male, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy amenities such as indoor gardens, rest areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping just steps from your gate. For longer layovers, you may be able to join an official city tour programme when available, or simply explore the airport terminals at a relaxed pace.

Before your flight from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may access partner lounges such as Horizon Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status. Access is determined by your departing flight from Kathmandu.

When you travel on a single Singapore Airlines ticket from Kathmandu to Male via Singapore, we normally check your baggage through to Male at Kathmandu, so you do not need to collect it in Singapore. Please confirm through-check details with our airport staff when you check in.
