For flights between Seoul and Jakarta, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg; Business Class passengers may check 40kg; First Class passengers may check 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Seoul–Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Singapore–Jakarta sector operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, Economy Class also features a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width, Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class offers a spacious fully flat bed.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Seoul but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers can relax in The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge before their onward flight.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities that make layovers comfortable and engaging. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may be able to join a free transit tour of Singapore, subject to the airport's official programme and timing. For shorter layovers, you can enjoy themed gardens, rest areas, play zones, and, in some terminals, attractions such as viewing decks and entertainment spaces. Seoul follows Korea Standard Time (UTC+9) and does not observe daylight saving time. Jakarta uses Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) and also does not change clocks seasonally. This means Jakarta is 2 hours behind Seoul throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Seoul–Singapore and Singapore–Jakarta) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Jakarta is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
